One of Kenya’s top ten  accounting and  audit  firms  is  urgently looking for  audit seniors, who based on their competence and enthusiasm  can genuinely add value to our clients.

This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated clear minded accountant to demonstrate their financial and accounting acumen, melded with polished management and people skills.

Requirements

• In the range of   a minimum of  3 to 4   years plus  experience with  progressively more senior work exposure  –  in a reputable accounting and audit firm, or other organisation.
• Should possess a relevant university degree, with an accounting designation like ACCA or CPA(K).
• Intimate understanding of audit methodologies and software, combined with a Zen like attention to detail in their approach to accounting and financial analysis.
• As a result of past audit assignment experience, ideally exposed to a range of industry sectors.  Plus, have the business savvy to understand what the implication of what the journal entries mean for a company or organisation.
• Strong assignment and project management skills, able to direct a team, with an awareness of assignment costs and profitability.
• Energetic “can do” attitude to work.  Able to motivate subordinates and co-workers.
• Job history of taking on increasing responsibility with absolute honesty and achieving results
• Ability to think logically, be analytical and assess a management problem, combined with a touch of creativity to come up with an insightful solution that works.
• Polished communication skills both in verbal presentations and in writing
• Fully computer literate in, for instance, audit software packages, accounting systems, word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail.

Remuneration
The monthly salary would be dependent on experience and qualifications combined with benefits.
