Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager
Reporting to the Chief
Executive Officer, the person will be responsible for the business development
and execution of Uwezo Microfinance Banks business strategy.
As a business development
manager, this position will be responsible for building up a business through
gaining new customers and accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Deposit Mobilization: Mobilize deposits to match and exceed the loan book.
Create, Implement and manage the Sacco brand strategy.
Create awareness on new and existing products.
Product development and review.
Co-ordinate and oversee the development of Microfinance Bank’s income generating services.
Identify, explore and develop appropriate new business opportunities for the Sacco – in both income generating and service provision areas.
Preparing proposals and presentations, writing reports, providing management with market feedback.
Ensure high level of customer service to ensure members loyalty and retention.
Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the Microfinance Bank’s overall strategy.
Revenue generation and strategic partnerships development and management.
Build and manage a business development team.
Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
Overseeing the development of marketing literature

Qualifications
University Degree in Business Management specializing in Marketing. MBA will be an added advantage.
At least 3 years’ experience in a management position.
Experience in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
Computer skills (Ms Word, Excel);
