In order to achieve it ambitious growth plans, the organisation is recruiting highly experiences, self-driven individuals with the ability to think strategically and develop long term plans.
Head of Sales & Marketing
The Head of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing market growth and presence strategies while ensuring cost effective sales and marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:-
  • Planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies for growth in line with the Corporations strategic plan, performance targets and agreed budgets;
  • Planning and implementing sales and customer retention strategies;
  • Spearheading new product development;
  • Ensuring Corporate brand visibility and awareness;
  • Identifying high potential outlets and other business development opportunities;
  • Overseeing the process of carrying out market research, gathering market intelligence and customer surveys;
  • Ensuring compliance of the Corporations set Environment, Health and Safety standards at the stations;
  • Designing seasonal marketing campaigns and additional promotions;
  • Preparing and monitoring the departmental budget; and
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing the Sales and Marketing team and ensuring excellent performance and effective succession planning in the department.
Skills and Attributes
  • Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management or any other related field;
  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant field;
  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage ;
  • Member of MSK or other recognised marketing professional body; and
  • At least 10 years relevant experience, 3 of which must be at senior management level.

  • Proven intellectual leadership in managing people, operations and financial resources;
  • Proven ability to think strategically and design long term plans;
  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Superior Communication skills both written and oral;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Strong negotiation skills; and
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
