A pharmaceutical firm based in Nairobi is
seeking to fill the following vacancy;
Telesales & Marketing
Job Duties and Responsibilities
s Sells
products by establishing contact and developing relationship with prospects
s Identifying
business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position
in the industry.
s Making
accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
s Maintains
relationship with clients by proving support information and guidance.
s Cold
calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new
business opportunities.
s Listening
to customers’ requirement and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
s Professionally
responding to incoming phone enquiries and/or emails in a fast, courteous and
professional manner.
s Acting
as contact person between a company and its existing and potential markets.
s Negotiating
the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
s Gathering
market and customer information.
s Negotiating
on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers & managers.
s Challenging
any objections with view to getting the customer to buy.
s Creating
detailed proposal documents often as part of a formal bidding process that is
largely dictated by the prospective customer.
s Reviewing
your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
s Gaining
a clear understanding of customer’s business and requirements.
s Giving
feedback to employer on future buying trends.
s Attending
team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
Minimum Job Requirements:
s Diploma/degree
in Sales and Marketing.
s 2
years’ experience in telesales preferably pharmaceuticals.

interpersonal skills.
s
Excellent command of both
written and spoken English and Kiswahili
