Program Description: The Research Care and Training Program (RCTP), is collaboration between Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and University of Washington (UW).

RCTP leads the Family AIDS Care and Education Services (FACES) program, a comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment program working in over 140 clinics in Nyanza Province, Kenya.

RCTP is seeking motivated individuals to fill the following one of its projects.

Job Title: Administrator
Reports to: County Project Officer
Duty Station: Kisumu with frequent travel to Homa Bay County
Duration: 12 Months, starting February 1, 2014
Vacancy Number: FN-01-01-2014

Job Summary:
To provide Administrative, and financial support and leadership to the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

s  Program budget preparation and implementation.

s  Cash Flow Management and ensuring that funds are availed for program operation as required.

s  Processing payments, internal control & supervision of petty cash payments

s  Coding, Account Management, and wire transfers.

s  Provision of efficient and effective administrative support to all study areas.

s  Provide administrative support for effective implementation of program operational plans and goals

Minimum Required Qualification and Experience:

s  B.com. (Finance/Accounting option) or equivalent

s  CPA II or Equivalent

s  Proficiency in MS Office

s  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy organization

s  Team Player

s  Good interpersonal and communication skill

s  Ability to speak/ write in English
