SWTL is therefore seeking expand our services and product portfolio in Kenya and is looking to recruit qualified visionary, aggressive and dynamic professionals in the following positions:

Job Title: Distribution Assistant
2 Positions

The Main purpose of the Distribution Assistant at SWTL is to support the delivery and distribution function of the inventory from the Sales and Stores to the customer through well planned channels of distribution that maximizes efficiency and economizes resources.

The Distribution Assistant will also be in-charge of Maintenance of company fleet (motor cycles & motor vehicles).

Job Description

s   Ensure on time delivery of the various products sold to customers.

s   Ensuring accuracy of products against invoices and/ delivery notes before delivery.

s   Under direction of the Procurement & Logistics Officer co-ordinate delivery and collection of goods/parcels to and from the other SWTL regional offices.

s   Service & maintenance of all company fleet by ensuring that they are clean and in proper working condition.

s   Ensure insurance and inspections are carried out on timely basis.

s   Ensure timely payments of monthly vehicle parking fees to city council and yearly branding licenses for all vehicles

s   Ensure safe custody of all motor vehicle/cycle keys.

s   Gathering market intelligence information during delivery and sharing with the business development department.

s   Offering advice to customers on Security and safety systems.

s   Advice the management on any malfunctions in the distribution process

s   Protect the image of the company at all times in the course of duty

s   Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service

Person Specifications

s  O level Certificate with at least C+ any other profession certification an added advantage.

s  30 years and above

s  Over 5 years’ experience as a competent Driver

s  Possession of a valid driving License and a certificate of good conduct

s  Be computer literate and well conversant with the traffic regulations and codes

s  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

s  Can work independently and timely
