Salary: 30 – 50K gross
Our client, a leading distributor and
supplier of Health Care and Scientific Equipment in Kenya is looking for a
Assistant Technical Sales who will provide customers with first line
information on product offering and service information.
Job Duties:
l Prepare and presents
customers quotations in liaison with supervisor
l Communicates with
principles for product offers and specifications.
l Prepares and presents
tender documents in liaison with the supervisor
l Answers to customers’
requests for product information and or quotations
l Contract potential
customers at site
l Deliver presentations to
doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists
in the retail sector
l Build relationships with
customers
l Provide competitive
information such as bid situations, pricing etc
l Improve product knowledge
and sales techniques
l Calling on regular and
prospective clients to solicit or follow up on product needs
l Talking with customers on
sales floor or by phone
l Research and keep abreast
with competitors
l Coordinate all issues with
key clients between sale and service support
l Taking clients orders,
placing supplier orders, invoicing and disbursing goods
l Communicating the estimated
time and date of delivery of goods to clients and management for planning
l Be present and assist in
the installation and set-up of new equipment at client site
l Staying informed about the
activities of health services in a particular area.
l Any other duties as may be
allocated by the departmental Head.
Qualifications
& Experience:
l College Degree/Diploma in
medical engineering
l At least 2 years’ experience
in a busy organization
l Customer Service skills
l Familiarity with a professional
work environment
