The Deutsche
Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federally owned
international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with Worldwide
operations.
GIZ has worked in Rwanda
for over 30 years. The primary objectives of cooperation between the Government
of Rwanda and the Federal Republic of Germany are poverty reduction and
promotion of sustainable development. To achieve these objectives, GIZ Rwanda
is mainly active in the sectors of Decentralization and Good Governance, Economic
Development and Employment Promotion.
For our program Economy
and Employment Promotion we are searching for an Assistant of Program
Coordination
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assure an excellent performance
of the program coordination secretariat
- Produce program related
documents, such as presentations, reports, minutes of meetings
- Assure excellent technical
quality of ail officiai program documents
- Support internal communication
and coordination within Eco-Emploi Team
- Support coordination on organizational
issues within the GlZ-system
- Support communication and
coordination within the Eco Emploi Cooperation System
- Assure the development and
implementation of ( IT-based ) tools for Activity Monitoring
- Assure translations English /
French / Kinyarwanda
Qualifications and Competences
- University degree in relevant
specialization and qualification in Management, Administration,
Secretariat Skills
- At least 5 years' professional
experience in a comparable position
- Excellent working knowledge of
ICI (MS Office, Outlook, MS Project)
- Excellent written and oral
knowledge and practice of English, French and Kinyarwanda. Knowledge of
German will be an asset
- Proven experience of management
and administration
- Good knowledge of the area of
Economy and Employment Promotion
- Experience in the field of
international cooperation
- High ability to connect with
persons and organizations
- Highly motivated and ready to
work in an international and motivated team
