We are looking for a dynamic and organised individual who will play a major role in the management of the administrative and operational systems within the country office to enable the team to function smoothly and effectively.
The Kenya programme works with different types of partners and your work will help enable those partners deliver results for several million of the most marginalized people.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining essential HR, IT, Information Management, security, administrative and operational systems within the Kenya office.
Being part of the Senior Management Team, he/she will also contribute to strategic decisions and will manage a small team which provides daily support to line managers and staff based in the Nairobi office.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident, approachable and adaptable. You will need to demonstrate an appreciation of organizational objectives and be adaptable to organisational culture.
We are looking for someone who has at least three years’ experience in business administration, gained ideally in a NGO based in Africa. As well as an excellent communicator, you will be an organised and dynamic team player. You are self-motivated and with an ability to manage a wide range of issues, some not always straightforward. Preferably you have a first experience in managing a small team.
