Development Manager – Yeast
Required qualifications,
experience, skills
The
candidate should have a solid business and marketing experience, particularly
in product / market development.
Need to have understanding of the
dynamics of the current Kenyan organic yeast / baking market and the existing
competitors.

Visit bakeries in order to sell our
products and to preserve good business relationships.
·
Promote our baking yeast and our
other yeast products and increase sales.
·
Should have knowledge/experience in
the principles of baking technology.
·
Sample, organize bakery trials,
ensure the follow-up and after-sales service by our potential clients.
·
Travel throughout the assigned
territory.
·
Use computer softwares such as Word,
Excel, Power Point, and produce visit reports and comparative sales charts as
required by the supervisor.
·
Participate at tradeshows,
exhibitions, trainings and various other meetings.
The
candidate needs to be at ease communicating and working with artisan bakers and
production and marketing executives in large industrial bakeries or in consumer
retail chains and have the ability to develop long term trustworthy
relationships with these customers.
Good communication skills are
essential.
Integrity
of the highest standard is essential.
