Urban Program Coordinator Jobs in Kenya
Position Requirements
Advanced degree in International Development, Social Work, Urban Poverty or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years demonstrated effective program management experience.
Minimum 5 years work experience in the African context implementing urban poverty alleviation, livelihoods and development programs.
Skills in curriculum and good practice guidelines development an advantage.
Excellent report and proposal writing skills.
Familiarity with refugee context and international experience preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong writing, analytical, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, maintaining flexibility and attention to detail under challenging circumstances;
Commitment to adhere to RefugePoint’s Code of Conduct and conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
English language fluency required, Kiswahili an advantage.
Kenyan applicants strongly preferred.
