Urban Program Coordinator Jobs in Kenya

Position Requirements

  • Advanced degree in International Development, Social Work, Urban Poverty or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated effective program management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in the African context implementing urban poverty alleviation, livelihoods and development programs.
  • Skills in curriculum and good practice guidelines development an advantage.
  • Excellent report and proposal writing skills.
  • Familiarity with refugee context and international experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong writing, analytical, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, maintaining flexibility and attention to detail under challenging circumstances;
  • Commitment to adhere to RefugePoint’s Code of Conduct and conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • English language fluency required, Kiswahili an advantage.
  • Kenyan applicants strongly preferred.
