Job Description
Director of Administration
and HR
Holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources, or Public
Administration with 7 years of
working experience in
Administration with at least 2
years after Master's Degree
Having headed the responsibility

She/he has direct responsibility for Human Resources, Management, Facilities Management, Security and Safety,
Information Capacity Technology and Management Information Services, Medical Records and General Administration Functions of CHUK. Among other activities She/he will:
- To set up an effective administrative System likely to guarantee adequate health services.
- Develop and appropriately update policies and procedures on administration
- Overall talent management strategy including workforce planning; recruiting; hiring; training and development; performance planning, management, and improvement; and succession planning.
- Oversee employment law compliance to regulatory concerns.
- To make sure that all the polices and procedures as regards administrative support are in place and carried out.
- To ensure that the data management Systems guaranteeing confidentiality and safety of information within the hospital.
Public Relations
and
Communication
Officer
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism
or Communication with 5 years of working experience in related field
Having experience in health
communication is an added advantage
- Cover audiences and press conferences held by senior managers of the Center
- Maintain good relationships with various media both public and private for the benefit of the Center
- Supervise translation and interpreting services subcontracted from specialized services
- Write speeches, messages and press release of the authorities of the Center
- Initiate and design communication programs to keep the public informed of the activities carried out by the Center
Customer Care
Officer
A1 in Social Sciences,
Management,Psychology sciences or other related fields
- Management of all problems related to customers
- Identify and report on performance constraints
- Ensure proactive Systems to maintain operational performance in collaboration with other services
- Ensuring Customer image outside CHUK
- Make a weekly , monthly, quarterly and annual report on the evaluation of activities
- Make a weekly report on claims or complaints from customers
- Show exceptional points reached by services in terms of Customers
- Communicate with other District Hospitals as part of referral counter referral
Cashiers
A2 in Accounts or HEG
- Deposit on a daily basis, following the schedule provided by the Chief Cashier, ail the money and credit receipts collected from cash desk
- Transmit to the Chief Cashier a daily report activities covered in his/her department(consultation or hospitalization)
- File chronologically cash payment vouchers
Hard facilities

Masters or Bachelor Degree in
civil, Bio-medical, Electronic,
electromechanical Engineering,
Informatics technology, Healthcare technology with 3 years working experience in Biomedical maintenance.
- Ensure management of biomedical and non medical equipment and infrastructure
- Ensure technical and administrative management of the entire team responsible for maintenance of the equipment of the Center
- Oversee the preparation of Terms of Reference of all technical activities
- Perform such other duties as may be required by his/her immediate superiors
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports

General
maintenance
Bachelor Degree in civil, Biomedical, Electronic, electromechanical Engineering, Informatics technology, Healthcare
technology with 2 years working experience in Bio-medical
maintenance.
- Ensure management of biomedical and non medical maintenance
- Initiate and manage contracts for maintenance of bio-medical/ non medical equipment entered into with specialized firms
- Provide technical intervention on bio-medical/non biomedical equipment park of the Center
- Ensure technical and administrative management of the entire team responsible for maintenance of bio-medical/non biomedical equipment of the Center
- Organize those who need to be on guard duty for maintenance
- Centralize all needs in terms of bio-medical/non biomedical equipment and separate parts
- Plan the acquisition of bio-medical/no biomedical equipment and their spare parts
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports
- Perform such other duties as may be required by his/her immediate Superiors

General

assistance
A1 in Electricity or Electronics
with 1yearworking experience
- To maintain and to repair the equipments
- To repair the electric facilities
- To make guards in services to assure the permanence and if necessary to make interventions in all the hospital
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports
- Perform such other duties as may be required by his/her immediate Superiors
