Campaigns Manager Jobs - ActionAid International

At ActionAid we are delivering a bold strategy to provide sustained improvements to the poorest and most excluded people in the world.
It means we are creating fantastic career opportunities for experienced sector professionals who want to be part of an organisation that is making a real difference.
Join our Action to End Poverty Now and be part of something truly amazing.
Our new exciting campaign to make cities safe for women and girls, reduce their experience and fear of sexual violence in urban public spaces is scheduled to launch in July 2014.
We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful individual to lead the campaign and its launch.
As International Campaign Manager we will look to you to lead the strategic coordination and delivery of our new international campaign for safe cities for women and girls.
Working with colleagues across the Membership and International Secretariat, you will harness the power of the ActionAid Federation behind the campaign and lead a diverse team to launch and manage implementation of an effective campaign strategy and plans.
You will take the lead in developing initiatives, allocating resources and driving the campaign forward to achieve external change as well as internal organisational objectives.
As well as managing planning and delivery internally you will represent ActionAid externally as you work alongside other organisations in international coalitions or tactical alliances to achieve campaign goals.
You will also ensure campaign outputs and outcomes are monitored and reported on regularly and evaluated.
Important will be the ability to guide and strengthen the strategic capacity of countries involved in the campaign and to ensure the sustainability of the campaign through fundraising.
Location: Preferably South Africa, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Bangkok (provided that no work permit is required for Thailand if candidate is based in Bangkok) or any country where ActionAid has an office.
Please note you must have the right to live and work in your chosen work location or the location that you will be asked to work in.
If you are chosen for interview then you will be asked to provide documentation showing that you have the right to work in the relevant location.
Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we regret we will not be able to respond personally to applicants who are not short-listed.
ActionAid welcomes applications from all sections of the community and we promote diversity.
