Our client,
a global consumer health care company is looking for an Administration Officer.
The main purpose is to perform clerical import & export work, basic
accounting duties and office administration.
Job
Duties and Responsibilities
l Responsible
for overall general affairs duties and tasks for the office
l Secretarial
work for the directors and the company
l Clerical
works for importing / exporting products
l Registration
work for Pharmacy and Poisons board
l Basic
accounting works on daily basis (bookkeeping, control of petty cash etc.)
l Familiar
with KRA, NHIF, NSSF, KEBS etc processes and procedures
l Cooperate
with outsourced accountants or accounting service company
l Administrate
office facilities / Purchase and manage office equipment
l Manage
general security matters
l Manage
and file internal documents and mails
l Support
and cooperate with other staff in sales
l Other
duties as assigned
Knowledge
& Qualifications
l A
university or college diploma or equivalent professional qualification
l At
least 5 years solid work experience in administration of a company or
organization
l Advanced
proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
l Business
level English skill (verbal and writing)/ Fluency in Kiswahili would be a
positive asset
l Sound
knowledge in administrative management in Kenya
l Accounting
skills
l Knowledge
of Pharmacy board registration and processes
l Hard
working, highly responsible, proactive and self-motivated
l Flexible,
open-minded and honest
l Basic
experience in importing and exporting
