Teachers Wanted
Green Hills Academy, located in Kigali, the
capital city, is Rwanda’s Premier School with an enrolment of 1500 students.
This is a call to interested candidates to
apply for teaching positions for the subjects indicated below in August 2014
for the school year 2014/2015
Special Education
Coordinator: A
degree in Special Education is required. Experience in Special Needs is an
asset. Our Department of Special Education has one teacher and 15 Teaching
Assistants who are in charge of about 30 students. The Special Education
Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership to this team and in setting
work schedules and programs.
Secondary
English: Teachers with a degree in Literature
are required
Chemistry: Teachers with a degree in
Chemistry are required
Other positions which may be available: Math, Biology and
Physics
Experience in teaching the above subjects at
IB Diploma and Cambridge IGSE levels will be a definite asset.
Consideration will be given to candidate with
equivalent experience with their national curricula.
Primary: Teaching positions will be
available.

opportunities. It comprises a Nursery (ages 3-5), primary (Grades 1 to 6) and a
Secondary school (Grades 7 to 12).
Requirements: Applicants must possess teaching
qualifications and should provide copies of relevant degrees and transcripts. Applicant

professional referees, two of them who have seen them teach.
