Advertisement for developing a 5 year Business Plan for the GVTC

After 7 years of implementation, the GVTC has reviewed and availed a renovated 5 year TSP together with its operational plan with the intention of improving its performance against the set mission and adjust accordingly. In order to fulfil this mandate, GVTC is seeking an experienced firm or consultant to undertake the development of a business plan encompassing comprehensive responsibilities of the GVTC for the next 5 years, 2014-2019. The business plan shall help GVTC to carry out confidently its fundraising and to assess its socio-development impact in the region.

Key tasks and expected outputs:

Ÿ   An objective, systematic and holistic Business Plan of GVTC's based on its mission, goals, institutional structure, the TSP, estimate contributions of key GVTC partners and other major projects being implemented by GVTC

Ÿ   A clear road map for its implementation

Deliverables

Ÿ   An electronic draft report for input by GVTC and key resource persons

Ÿ   Final report of detailed findings and recommendations both electronically and in hard copy in English and French. The hard copies will be five.

Skills and experience required

Ÿ   The consultant/firm should have qualification and experience in Business development and management planning. Diversified qualifications and experience will be an added advantage.

Ÿ   Fluency in English is a requirement. Bilingual in English and French is an added advantage.

Duration

Ÿ   The consultancy should be completed in 25 working days spreaded over 45 days.

Reporting

Ÿ   The consultant will report to the Executive Secretary GVTC but work closely with the 2 deputy Executive Secretaries and the Senior Technical Advisor to the GVTC.
